Feeder
Feeder
The feeder is used as a uniform and adjustable feeding system in crushing lines. For this reason, different types of feeders are used for various mineral materials and river, quarry, and other aggregates with different moisture contents. The feeders produced by this company include quarry (shuttle/reciprocating) feeders, grizzly feeders, and vibrating feeders.
Shuttle (Quarry) Feeder
This type of feeder is used for large stones with high capacity performance, while smaller sizes are used for small and medium-sized stones. The capacity of these feeders is determined by the width, crank mechanism, stroke, and slope of the feeder.
The reciprocating motion in this type of feeder is provided by a powerful hydraulic system, which transfers motion to the machine via a shaft.
Large quarry feeders operate with a long stroke and a small amplitude. If the feeding process is properly and satisfactorily performed, new material must be continuously supplied to fill the space behind the feeder. This prevents material from flowing back during the reverse movement of the feeder.
Before stopping the feeder, dry material should be added or the surface of the feeder should be cleaned to ensure proper operation.
Grizzly Feeder
This type of feeder is designed for systematic feeding operations in quarry and mining applications. It features an adjustable discharge opening to control the final product size, and is equipped with a grizzly section at the discharge area to increase capacity and prevent fine materials from entering the jaw crusher.
It can be designed with a two-deck grizzly section, enabling better material separation.
The grizzly feeder is manufactured in both single-shaft and double-shaft types, in various sizes. The movement of this machine is linear, directed upward and forward.
Features of the Grizzly Feeder
- Adjustable vibration amplitude
- High strength and durability
- Use of alloy steel in shaft construction
- Lubrication system (oil and grease-based)
- Mechanical system for generating machine vibration
- Use of wear-resistant steel plates for the device lining (pan/chute sections)
Vibrating Feeder
This type of feeder is installed on low-slope or horizontal surfaces and uses a vibrating mechanism to uniformly feed materials into the crusher placed downstream. It is manufactured in both single-shaft and double-shaft types, in various sizes and dimensions depending on the required production capacity and plant layout.
